Bee Happy Betty her pet bumble bee Bert
Oh I'm excited! My very first doll of my own creation! Yep~ she all mine! I am so proud of this original!
Betty is made of muslin and about 12 inches long. Her big ole eyes are hand painted. I have hand painted the rest of her face as well as rosied up her cheeks a bit. You cant see it in the pictures for some reason, but she has tons and tons of eyelashes!Betty's hair is a crazy loop stuff I have had on hand for a while and just love how it looks on her. She is wearing a fun bright yellow top with buzzin' lil bees on it. I have hand stitched the black ric rac to the bottom edge. She is also wearing all black shorts that are hand hemmed.I have hand painted her nice shoes on too! To top her off, she has a great big bow in the matching bee print with a vintage button.
