Cinnamon Santa Make-do

This Holiday Make-do is set on a Vintage Watering Can Sprinkler-head. He measures 12" tall, including base. The head is made of muslin with a hand-stitch nose and painted face. Old buttons were added for eyes and his Beard and Hair are a nubby wool-blend yarn, sprinkled with cinnamon. The hooded Cloak and body are made of fafed red linen. The Cloak is attached with rusty pins. Black gloves were painted on and the trim on the Hood and Cuffs is wonderful spiced stained, stringy rag strips. I also added a bit of rag strip on the base to attach a cinnamon covered bell. Down his front, I added small rusty bells using rusty pins. This Charning fellow will arrive signed and dated.

Dressed in a Gown of Vintage Satin that is adorned with heavy lace and stained cheesecloth, this Sweet Angel is perfectly “Primmed” for your Holiday décor. She measures 16” tall and has a wingspan of 12”. The Wings are made from a vintage quilt scrap and wrapped with stained cheesecloth, accented with lace appliqué. Vintage buttons and handmade tatting add a sweet charm to her gown. An old wooden, textile spool was used for her base. Her angelic face has been drawn on for a soft look. In her arms, she carries a bouquet of Sweet Annie for you. She will make a Wonderful Set-about all year long. This is a ‘HorseFeathers” OOAK, for display only and NOT a child’s toy. Burlap Pillow # 1

This Wonderful Little Set-about Burlap Pillow measures about 8" x 11". Hand-stitched to the pillow is a vintage "9-patch" orphan quilt block. I have added primitive embroidery stitching to the nine squares. A strip of raggey, spice stained cotton yarn was stitched to the top of the pillow as a prim bow. Great to set-about in an old cupboard or old chair. This is a OOAK. For decorative use only, not for children.

Burlap Pillow # 3

This Wonderful Little Set-about Burlap Pillow measures about 8" x 11". Hand-stitched to the pillow is a vintage orphan quilt block. I have added a prim heart, rescued from an old antique 'Crazy Quilt' scrap. Old buttons and a primmed little posey add to the little pillow's charm. Great for displaying in an old chair or cupboard shelf. This is a OOAK. Not for children.

Little Judith and her Punkin dolly

Holding Her favorite little Dolly "Punkin", this Little Witch just can't wait for Halloween night ! Little Judith is about 20" tall. Made from muslin, She is wearing her best spice-stained dress and crochet apron. Her little face was hand-stitched and painted. Two antique buttons were sewn on for eyes. Both Witch Hats are handmade of felt, and 'Punkin's' face is stitch on. Such a Sweet Little Witch ! There is a hanger on her back for hanging on a cupboard door. Little Judith is a "HorseFeathers" Original - OOAK. The Doll in the photo is the one you will receive. Not a Child's toy - for decoration only. She will arrive signed and dated.
