Prim Santa Shelf Sitter

Prim Santa shelf sitterPrimitive Santa. I've painted his clothing and then handstitched the details. His nose is needle sculpted and his eyes are embroidered. The mustache is sheeps wool. I added a little rusty bell at the end of his cap. Santa is made of muslin and coffee stained.

Primitive Santa doll

I call him "Santa Knickers". He measures about 23" tall and is based on a pattern from Chestnut Junction. Totally handmade by me. His hair and beard and recycled fringe from a bedspread! Coffee stained of course for the prim look. His face is stitched with a scuplted nose.

Santa's boots are painted on and then laced with embroidery thread. His hat and britches are made of a barn red cotton fabric with little dots on it. Then they are trimmed with coffee stained warm & natural.

Annie ornaments

I made several of these cute little Annie ornies. I have one hanging in my kitchen year round! Let me know which one you like and I'll check to see if it's still available as some have been sold. They are made of muslin. The hair is red yarn sewn on and all the faces, words and details are handstitched in a prim stitchery fashion. Some have little bells on them, but not all. They're coffee stained and finished off with homespun fabric.

Primitive Garden wreath

18 inch Primitive Garden wreath. I cut out the shapes myself from recycled mahogany, so it's real lightweight. After cutting out the sign and the primitive flowers, I painted them, then sanded the edges for a distressed look, antiqued them with Folk Art antiqing medium, and then sprayed them with matte acrylic sealer. Each piece is attached to the wreath with a strong piece of black baling wire. To give the wreath some more color and a wonderful scent, I added in some dark red and green Sweet Annie. I also added some tied pieces of americana tan and barn red plaidhomespun fabric for an extra little prim touch. Then I took it to a local barn for the photograph.

The wreath is a 18" grapevine and I added a wire loop on the back so it can be hung either on a wreath hook, wreath stand, or on the wall.

Primitive Candy Cane ornies

Prim candy cane ornaments. They each have a floss hanger for hanging on your tree, wall, wreath or other decoration. Attached is cinnamon stick, rusty star and rusty bell. The candy canes are very primitive and have been coffee stained. $6.50 each. They are handmade by me.

Snowman Pocket Ornie

Made of Warm & Natural cotton batting and then coffee stained. The snowman face is a seperate piece that I attached with a blanket stitch. I've stuffed the pockets with greenery and some red berries. They are handmade by me. $8.00 each
